Job summary

Lancasteremerald in Lincoln, NE is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Baylor Program to join the Nursing team. This full-time role covers Saturdays and Sundays, 6:30 am to 10:30 pm, working 32 hours each weekend while paid for 40.

The CNA will provide compassionate resident care, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being within a clinical setting. Responsibilities include daily living assistance, mobility support, vital signs, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lift/move residents and perform physical tasks.
• Current CNA certification in Nebraska required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, respiration).
• Document care and resident condition changes in electronic records.
• Communicate changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with feeding, meals, and resident companionship.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians for cohesive care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Work Environment

This position operates in a clinical healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.

• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.

• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.

• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.

• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.

• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
