Job summary

i9 Sports is looking for enthusiastic Basketball Officials to help create a fun, safe, and positive experience for young athletes and their families. Officials play an important role in keeping games organized, encouraging good sportsmanship, and ensuring every player has a great experience.

Schedule is weekend game days (Saturday and/or Sunday) during each 6-week season. This is a great fit for teachers, college students, former athletes, or anyone who enjoys working with kids and sports.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of basketball rules.
Experience playing, coaching, or officiating basketball preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to make confident decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Passion for working with kids and youth sports.

Responsibilities

Officiate youth basketball games in accordance with i9 Sports rules.
Promote good sportsmanship and create a positive experience for players, coaches, and families.
Enforce rules fairly while keeping games safe, fun, and on schedule.
Communicate clearly with coaches, players, parents, and i9 Sports staff.
Keep score and manage game timing as needed.
Represent i9 Sports with professionalism and a positive attitude.
