Job summary

i9 Sports Corporation is seeking a Baseball Coordinator to enhance the experience for players and coaches. You will build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring instructional quality during practices and games across all age groups and skill levels.

The role involves hands-on involvement with practices and games, observing, assessing, and assisting coaches. This is a weekend-focused, part-time contractor position with location coverage in the South Cluster region.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with players, parents and coaches.
• Reliable transportation to venues.
• At least 2 years of sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and solve problems.
• Ability to take charge to ensure player safety.
• Positive attitude and strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Willingness to work weekends and some evenings for the season.
• Must have a smartphone with internet capability.
• Must pass a National Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
• Understand and enforce i9 Sports rules to ensure a safe, enjoyable learning environment.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship.
• Set up and break down game/practice field equipment.
• Keep time and score during games; manage age-appropriate instruction and competition.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
• Assist coaches during practice with drills and answer questions.
• Supervise overall operation of designated sports on game day.
