Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a Part-Time Table Host for weekend shifts at our South Inland Empire venues. You will greet and guide hundreds of visitors daily, manage the information tent, check-in coaches, and oversee concession sales while delivering stellar customer service.

This role rewards reliability and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment. Pay is game-rate with weekly earnings based on games worked.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills interacting with children, parents, and coaches.

• Minimum 2 years of sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience.

• Flexibility to work varied schedules incl. weekends for full season duration (≈7 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down information tent/table equipment professionally.

• Answer parent/coach questions and proactively address concerns.
• Relay concerns or feedback to the site manager with detailed site notes.

Regional Details

Our programs rotate seasonally to use the best facilities in the area. This position covers our South Cluster, including:

• Eastvale, Norco, Corona, Riverside, Chino Hills, and Jurupa Valley.
• Assignment locations vary by season. Reliable transportation to all cities in this cluster is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down information tent/table equipment in a professional and organized manner.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Reliability: Reliable transportation to and from the venue workplace.
• Technology: Must have a smartphone with internet capability.
• Background Check: Successful completion of a National Criminal Background Check is required.
• Flexibility: Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends, for the full season duration (approximately 7 weeks).

Payment for this position is based on a game rate structure.

This means that as an independent contractor, you will be paid weekly based only on the number of games you successfully work during that period. Your total weekly compensation will be the established rate multiplied by the number of games completed; it is not a fixed salary or hourly wage for time spent outside of game duties. This structure directly ties your earnings to your active participation in scheduled games.
