Church & Dwight is seeking a Baking Soda Packaging Mechanic in Old Fort, OH. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing high-speed packaging equipment, reading mechanical and electrical blueprints, and performing changeovers to maximize production.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, an electrical background, and basic welding/machining skills, with a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of mechanical experience. You may work weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and a solid electrical background.
• Basic proficiency in welding and machining.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs on packaging lines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, time and repair high-speed packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pack lines, palletizers and related conveyors.
• Read blueprints and adjust machinery to meet specs.
• Work with regulated products to meet FDA/GFSI standards.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and fabricate stock parts as needed.
• Perform machine changeovers and setup packaging lines for startup.
