Job summary

Elliott Aviation, a leader in aircraft solutions, is seeking an Avionics Technician for weekend crew in Moline, IL. The role focuses on inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of avionics systems to ensure safety and optimal performance of business aircraft.

Weekend hours: Friday–Sunday, 9am–10pm. Requires 2+ years of avionics experience, and an A&P/FCC license is a plus. Benefits on Day 1, relocation assistance, and 401(k) matching are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years avionics installation experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of FARs 43, 91, 135, 145.
• Ability to work overtime and various shifts as business needs require.
• Willingness to mentor junior technicians and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair all avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft.
• Complete installations, modifications, and upgrades of avionics components and wiring using approved data.
• Interpret and apply technical manuals, wiring diagrams, engineering orders, and service bulletins to ensure compliance with regulatory and repair station requirements.
• Document all maintenance actions clearly and accurately, including test results, corrective actions, and traceability of parts used.
• Communicate with department manager or crew chief on any problems or repairs.
• Ensure all work within project scope and is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector.
• Learn, understand and follow the company work order and parts requisition process as written.
• Maintain security, calibration, and proper use of tools and test devices.
