Job summary

Evapco is seeking an Assembly Technician for the weekend shift in Taneytown, MD. The role involves basic assembly of unit sections and sub-assemblies under supervision, using shop orders and drawings with a focus on accuracy and quality.

You will follow directions, operate common hand tools and an overhead crane after training, and contribute to continuous improvement in safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to follow written instructions and labels.
• Ability to perform basic assembly and use measuring tools within 1/16 inch.

Responsibilities

• Assemble unit sections and sub-assemblies per instructions.
• Follow directions and understand assembly paperwork to meet Evapco standards.
• Participate in team problem solving to improve quality, safety and productivity.
• Maintain safety, 5-S, and efficiency targets of 90% or higher.
