Job summary

EVAPCO, Inc. seeks an Assembly Technician - Day Shift to perform basic assembly of unit sections and sub-assemblies under close supervision. You will follow production orders, read shop drawings, and work to meet safety and quality standards.

Must be able to use a tape measure within 1/16”, operate a overhead crane after training, and read orders. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with a strong reliability and desire to learn and improve.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read Production Orders & shop drawings.
• Basic math for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to follow directions and improve accuracy.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Basic assembly of unit sections and sub-assemblies.
• Follow directions and ensure comprehension of instructions.
• Identify paperwork to meet Evapco quality standards.
• Support safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Attend training courses as directed by management.
• Work toward a minimum 90% efficiency.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
