Eaton is hiring a Weekend Assembler for the El Paso, TX facility. The role focuses on wiring, assembling, fitting, and mounting subassemblies and standard assemblies in electrical control equipment. You will perform test preparation and final inspections using power-checking procedures.

Shift is 6:00am-6:45pm, Friday through Sunday. The site emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, with a benefits package including health coverage, paid leave, and education programs.

• High School Diploma or equivalet from an accredited institution.

Responsabilidades

• Perform wiring, assembling, fitting, and mounting subassemblies and fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment.
• Prepare units for test and final inspection using established procedures.
• Verify electrical/mechanical integrity with power-checking equipment and ensure quality conformance.
• Maintain clean work area and observe 5-S and safety procedures.
• Assist in material handling and shipment preparation.

Perform assembly or wiring required for test preparation and final inspection. Use established power-checking procedures and equipment to verify the electrical/mechanical integrity of units assembled. Perform all assignments within the acceptable quantity and quality requirements.In this function, you will:• Perform the assigned function from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing information.• Handle materials following established procedures.• Perform routine maintenance on all plant equipment in the area of assignment as required.• Maintain quality standards by inspecting and testing finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and codes.• Maintain expected progress of jobs in the area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages.• Handle all finished products for shipment; call carriers and load materials into carrier's vehicles.• Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools, and work area clean and orderly by performing 5-S duties and continued dedication to raising the bar.Qualifications:Required:• High School Diploma or equivalet from an accredited institution.• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Eaton El Paso, TX facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position.
