Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is hiring for an entry-level manufacturing role at our West Springfield site. You will process parts in tanks, determine processing times, rinse and finish parts, and complete required paperwork.

You will supervise line assistants to keep throughput high and help maintain the processing line. ITAR compliance is required; this position often involves handling sensitive data regulated by ITAR.

Qualifications

• No experience required; willingness to train.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process parts in tanks according to specifications, work orders, and other requirements.
• Calculate the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts.
• Remove parts from tank after the specified time, rinse parts and immerse them in bath before finishing processing.
• Complete paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines.
• Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput.
• Evaluate and log preventive maintenance on the processing line.
• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly.
• Other duties as assigned.
