Qualifications

• High School diploma; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to pass post-employment physical as required by OLAW.
• Ability to work in an environment containing animal dander and dust.

Responsibilities

• Perform cage room duties including cleaning, loading bedding, restocking supplies, and EH&S training.
• Perform weekend animal health checks and report findings to LAT and research contact.
• Maintain animal room activity logs and husbandry records.
• Assist in maintaining cages and ensuring proper food and water levels.
• Clean and maintain biosafety cabinets and work areas after use.
• Respond to emergencies in collaboration with managers.
