Summit BHC is seeking a PRN Counselor II for weekend coverage at Raleigh Recovery Center in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on counseling, crisis intervention and case management to support clients in recovery from addictions and related mental health conditions.

The position entails performing client assessments, leading group and individual sessions, and coordinating aftercare planning with documentation and liaison duties with insurances and referral sources.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in social services, addiction, mental health or closely related field.
• Master's degree in social services, addictions, mental health or closely related field.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct client assessments to identify history, current presentation, problem areas and treatment needs.
• Perform ongoing assessments of chemical dependence services required by the program.
• Prepare and update initial treatment plans and progress reviews with required documentation.
• Lead group counseling, individual or family sessions and apply evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Provide education to clients and family about substance use/psychiatric issues.
• Ensure timely and clear documentation of client care, treatment and incidents.
