Job summary

EF Language Abroad is seeking Weekend Activity Leaders to guide exciting excursions for international students in Florida, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays. You will ensure safety, deliver engaging experiences, and create a welcoming atmosphere while using EF resources and your own creativity.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and a passion for working with youth from diverse cultures.

Qualifications

• Energetic, outgoing and confident personality.
• Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.
• Comfortable leading groups in public settings.
• Responsible, punctual and dependable.
• Experience with youth programs, camps, hospitality, tourism, education, customer service, or event coordination is a plus.
• Familiarity with Miami and South Florida attractions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise weekend excursions, activities, and events.
• Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and welfare of all students at all times.
• Deliver engaging, organized, and enjoyable experiences using EF activity plans and your own ideas.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and energetic atmosphere for students from around the world.
• Manage group attendance, transportation logistics, and schedules during excursions.
• Respond to emergencies by following safety protocols and communicate with management.
• Communicate with the Activities Manager and team before, during, and after events.
• Handle minor behavioral or welfare concerns calmly and escalate when appropriate.
• Represent EF professionally with students, vendors, partners, and the public.
• Encourage participation and socialization, maximizing language experience.
• Complete required documentation and follow safeguarding procedures.
