Job summary

Calyx Living in Fuquay-Varina, NC is seeking an energetic Weekend Activity Coordinator to design and run a vibrant weekend activities program for residents in our assisted living community.

You will implement holistic engagement activities, coordinate with staff, and ensure a warm, welcoming atmosphere for seniors during weekends. Weekend availability and passion for senior enrichment are essential.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, warm personality with a passion for seniors.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• A valid NC driver’s license.
• One year of activity programming experience preferred.
• Degree in Recreation Administration or Therapeutic Recreation or TRS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement a vibrant, holistic weekend activity program for residents.
• Coordinate activities with staff and document participation.
• Create a warm, engaging weekend atmosphere for seniors.

Calyx Living is actively seeking an energetic and creative Weekend Activity Coordinator for our contemporary assisted living community! We are located in beautiful Fuquay-Varina, one of the fastest growing towns in North Carolina, and minutes from its two vibrant and historic downtown districts!

Calyx is looking to hire a Weekend Activity Coordinator who will be responsible for the implementation of a vibrant, holistic and varied recreational activity program at the community on weekends.

Qualifications

• An outgoing warm personality along with a passion to work with seniors
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• A current driver\'s license in good standing in NC
• Ideally has one year of activity programming experience.
• Preferably, has a degree in Recreation Administration or Therapeutic Recreation or is certified as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
