Weekend Activity Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of individual and group activities.
  • Provide activities for those with special needs (i.e., depressed, terminally ill, bedridden).
  • Encourage the participation and involvement of all residents.
  • Prepare for and participate in resident care conferences.
  • Prepare sites and materials for activities.

Weekend Activity Assistant (CNA) Qualifications:

  • CNA CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR and First Aid certified or willingness to become certified.
  • Prior experience with elderly patients preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
