Wilson Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Wilson, NC is hiring an Activities Assistant for weekend shifts (Saturdays and Sundays, 8am–5pm). The role focuses on planning engaging programs that meet residents’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs while coordinating with volunteers and staff.

• Must have CNA certification in North Carolina.
• Experience in a Long Term Care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities that meet resident needs for groups or individuals.
• Observe and report attendance, participation, and behavior changes.
• Coordinate programs with volunteers and greet new residents.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Provide a warm, respectful environment and interact professionally with residents and families.
