Job summary

West Meade Place is seeking an Activities Assistant (CNA certified) to join our care team on weekends. You will plan and run therapeutic activities to meet residents' individual needs and promote wellness, fun, and engagement in a long-term care setting.

Weekends required: Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-6pm. You will assess residents, maintain calendars, coordinate with staff, and ensure compliance with care plans while bringing energy and compassion to daily programming.

Qualifications

• Must be CNA certified and have a compassionate, creative approach.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a wellness program for LT care, memory care or rehab patients (weekend/holiday hours may apply).
• Complete assessments, care plans and related paperwork on time.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal programming guidelines.
• Bring energy and fun to activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
