Greenville Post Acute (GPA) is seeking an energetic Activities Assistant to join our team on weekends. You will work with the Activities Director to create engaging programs aimed at improving residents’ physical, emotional, social, and psychosocial well-being.

Ideal candidates show empathy, strong communication, and an enthusiastic, creative approach to programming. The role offers a weekend schedule and opportunities for growth within healthcare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in a long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or activities setting preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting activities for individuals and groups.
• Encourage resident participation in activities, hobbies, crafts, games, and events.
• Maintain attendance records and activity documentation.
• Coordinate monthly activity calendars and schedules.
• Support resident assessments and activity care plans.
