Job summary

Johns Island Post Acute is a 132-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility inviting an Activities Assistant to weekends. You will support the Activity Director by planning and leading fun, interactive programs for residents, helping with outings, crafts, music, reading, and special events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in creating and leading fun, interactive programs for residents.
• Plan and conduct individual, small group, and large group activities.
• Encourage participation in crafts, games, music, reading, hobbies, and special events.
• Assist with resident outings and transportation as needed.
