Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Weekend Activities Assistant to support residents on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 2pm. You will deliver compassionate care, help onboard teammates, and lead activities that promote physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Preferred CNA certification and experience with geriatric residents; opportunities to grow, with benefits such as PTO, insurance, and education support.

Qualifications

• Experience with geriatric population preferred.
• CNA certification preferred; willing to obtain CNA within six months.

• Recruits, organizes, trains and recognizes volunteers to expand and supplement the activity program, while including as many residents as possible
• Involves resident families, the community, and volunteers in activities to increase the overall participation of residents as active contributors to their well-being

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with geriatric population is preferred
• CNA certification is preferred. Must be open to getting CNA certification within the first six (6) months of employment
