Aerotek in Winona, MN is seeking a 4th shift assembler to build small electronic components into finished units. You will follow computer-based work orders, use hand and power tools, and perform precise mechanical and electrical assembly with an emphasis on quality and safety.

The role offers a climate-controlled environment, weekend shifts, and onsite fabrication operations. Candidates should have basic tool experience, ability to read orders, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• No prior manufacturing experience required; candidates with 0 months of manufacturing experience are welcome.
• Basic understanding of assembly line processes and general production workflows.
• Experience with packaging completed products in a production or warehouse setting.
• Comfort working with small electronic parts and components in a repetitive, detail-oriented role.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use ESD equipment properly in an electronics environment.
• Reliability and consistency in attendance, especially for weekend-based shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small electronic parts and components into finished units according to detailed work orders and instructions displayed on a computer.
• Read, interpret, and follow computer-based work orders and production documentation accurately throughout the shift.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.
• Operate basic production and assembly line equipment as needed to support manufacturing activities.
• Measure and verify parts using tools such as tape measures to ensure components meet required specifications.
• Inspect assembled parts and finished units for quality, accuracy, and proper function, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
• Perform general production duties including machine operation, assembly, and packaging of completed products.
• Follow established procedures for handling electronic components, including the proper use of ESD equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with facility standards.
• Communicate clearly in English with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues during the shift.
