Job summary

DK Security is seeking a part-time security officer for 3rd shift in Benton Harbor, MI. You will guard posts, patrol grounds, check IDs, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a safe environment.

Applicants must be 18+ with a High School Diploma or GED, pass a drug screen, and be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification to respond to emergencies. The role focuses on weekends with an $18.50/hour rate.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a drug screening at time of hire and randomly thereafter.
• Must not have felonies or disqualifying misdemeanors per state law.
• Willing to become CPR/First Aid/AED certified and able to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Guard posts at entry/exit points to protect buildings and grounds.
• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas.
• Check employee, vendor, and visitor identifications.
• Deter suspicious activity and report incidents daily.
• Follow site post guidelines and maintain professional image.
