Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is seeking an Operations Manager II to supervise a weekend shift and drive warehouse efficiency. You will lead Supervisors, optimize workflows, and uphold safety standards while delivering measurable performance gains.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 2+ years in a supervisory role and 1+ year in logistics; experience with P&L is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience, required.
• 2+ years supervisory or management experience, required.
• P&L management, objective setting, and project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports by providing coaching and support.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor planning, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Uphold health and safety regulations and foster a culture of safety across the organization.
• Compile reports on KPIs including productivity and accuracy metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Foster open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates for transparency and alignment.
• Collaborate with Human Resources and site leadership to ensure a comprehensive hiring process for Supervisors.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and exceed expectations.
• Partner with customers to address concerns and achieve high customer satisfaction.
