The Welder will read blueprints, set up equipment, and inspect welds for quality while maintaining documentation. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
• Experience in welding, manufacturing environment preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and technical docs.
• Knowledge of weld symbols, tolerances, metallurgy basics.
• Familiarity with inspection tools and welding safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Read/interpret blueprints and work instructions to perform welding.
• Set up welding equipment, select materials, and perform welding safely.
• Inspect welds for quality and conformance to specs; maintain records.
• Operate/maintain robotic welding systems and program robots as needed.
• Perform MIG, spot, and resistance welding per requirements.
• Collaborate with teams to improve processes and standards.
