Watlow is hiring a Weekend 1st Shift Operator in Columbia, MO. The role involves producing high-quality thermal products with autonomy, teamwork, and adherence to procedures. Starting pay is $19.73 per hour for a 36-hour week, paid as 40 hours.

Responsibilities include following work instructions, operating equipment, ensuring quality, and maintaining a safe workplace. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma, basic math/mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Work history does not exceed more than two jobs in the past year.
• Demonstrated knowledge with basic computer systems.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Willingness to be a cross-functional team member.
• Ability to learn new skills and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions.
• Operate equipment/tools/machinery to prepare and assemble product.
• Assure product meets all quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Check and fill out necessary reports, manufacturing orders, scrap, rejects and production times.
