Job description

As a Weekend Fabrication Painter, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining fabrication equipment used in the production of our high-quality refrigeration products. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a 5% employer match on 6% employee contribution to 401(k), a pay progression review after 3 months, holiday pay, up to 40 hours of paid vacation in your first year, and health insurance starting the month after hire. Additionally, you can earn a monthly production bonus of up to one dollar per hour worked for meeting production targets.

One Shift Available:
  • Friday through Sunday, 5am-5:30pm (12-hour shifts)

No experience is required—we will train you! Experienced operators with over 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience may be eligible for a pay rate up to $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and report safety hazards or concerns.
  • Perform painting tasks using knowledge of paint types (wet or powder) and application techniques.
  • Mix paints in prescribed proportions, check viscosity, and apply with a spray gun to achieve specified thickness.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including washing, cleaning, taping, and hanging parts.
  • Follow work orders to prepare parts, place them in ovens, and set appropriate temperatures and times.
  • Conduct detailed inspections of parts after oven processing for assembly readiness.
  • Move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand for extended periods during shifts.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in fabrication painting is a plus.
  • Strong safety awareness and mindfulness.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in task completion.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Basic reading skills to understand work-related documents.
Job Details:

Type: Full-time

Work Environment: Noisy, with varying temperatures depending on the season.
