Job summary

Stoughton Trailers, LLC is seeking a skilled machinist/assembler to perform essential manufacturing tasks on the line, read blueprints, operate machining centers, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

You will troubleshoot equipment, cooperate with maintenance, train new employees, and help achieve production targets while maintaining safe work practices in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks safely and efficiently according to company policy.
• Navigate and operate HMI controls of robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve part fit up and system function issues.
• Communicate issues to technicians and engineers as needed.
• Coordinate with Line Lead and Production Supervisor on status and priorities.
• Train on operation of equipment and assist with operator preventive maintenance.
• Work from blueprints and perform manufacturing and assembly tasks.
• Conduct quality checks of parts and components and monitor processes for improvements.
• Support adherence to production schedules and optimize machinery settings as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and collaborate with other departments.

Job description

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy.


• Follow company policies and procedures.


• Navigate and operate HMI controls of robotic system.


• Troubleshooting and solving part fit up and system function issues as they arise.


• Communicate issues that require technical support with appropriate Technician and Engineer.


• Communicate status with Line Lead and Production Supervisor.


• Work with team members in pre and post line operations to communicate and address problems.


• Facilitate operator preventive maintenance tasks as required and communicate any issues that are noted with Management and Maintenance.


• Trains on operation of equipment


• Perform all other duties as assigned by Lead or Production Supervisor.


• Responsible for handling, operating and clearing of the assigned manufacturing equipment.


• Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment as necessary.


• Setup and operate specified machining center.


• Troubleshoot problems within programming and the functions of the machine or partner with maintenance or engineer to resolve the issue.


• Work from blueprints.


• Performing product manufacturing and assembly tasks as assigned


• Conducting quality checks of parts and components


• Monitoring product process and suggesting improvements.


• Support adherence to the specified production schedule


• Optimizing production efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings as needed


• Inspecting machinery and production equipment and troubleshooting minor errors


• Performing minor repairs and reporting breakdowns in a timely manner


• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment


• Training new employees Conducting training sessions for team members


• Collaborating with other departments to complete production orders on time


• Complying with internal policies and industry regulations

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in standing positions during work shift.
