Job summary

Choice Care Surgery Center in Midland, TX is hiring a Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating rooms across multiple specialties. Position requires weekday shifts with no holidays or weekends, and some early mornings or late evenings as scheduled.

The Surgical Technologist will scrub for procedures, maintain sterile fields, prepare supplies and equipment, and support quality improvement initiatives while collaborating with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; completion of Surgical Technician Program or equivalent experience.
• Certification as required by state/center.
• Experience in ambulatory surgical center preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions; excellent teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for surgical procedures and participate as a member of the surgical team.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures and prepare supplies/equipment.
• Support the philosophy and goals of the Surgery Center and participate in quality improvement activities.
