Job summary

Cibolo Creek Surgery Center is seeking a Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech to join its ambulatory surgery team. The role supports sterile technique, prepares instruments, and collaborates with surgeons in orthopedic and podiatry procedures. Schedule is weekdays only, with possible early mornings or late evenings based on surgeries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and Surgical Technician program completion.
• Certification as required by state/center.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Teamwork and strong communication with staff, patients, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to procedures.
• Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Collaborates with staff and physicians to ensure smooth operating room flow.
