Job summary

Bayhealth Medical Center in Kent Campus Hospital is seeking a professional nurse to provide patient care in a physician practice, with emphasis on wound care, triage, medication reviews, and documentation. Shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., with no weekends or holidays. Salary starts at 23.90+ hourly (BOE) with full benefits including PTO, 401(k)/403(b), health/dental/vision, disability and life insurance, on-site child care, educational reimbursement, FSAs, and voluntary

Qualifications

• Education: LPN or equivalent; BLS required.
• Wound care and physician practice experience preferred.
• Ability to manage patient treatment area and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients within physician practice.
• Perform triage, prepare injections, and review refills per physician plans.
• Coordinate testing and follow-up, educate patients on treatment plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and practice guidelines.
• Assist with minor procedures and ensure clean, sterile equipment.
