Job summary

Whitsons is seeking a School Food Service Worker to join our nutrition team at a Philadelphia-area school. The role is Monday–Friday with no nights or weekends, offering a daytime schedule. You’ll prep, portion, and serve meals, follow food safety rules, and help create a positive mealtime experience for students and staff.

No experience required—we provide training and growth opportunities. Pay is $15/hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English sufficient to understand and perform job assignments, follow recipes, and comply with safety requirements.
• Further training provided; no prior experience required.
• Whitsons training and government-mandated training completed as required.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience
• Work as part of a fun, energetic team
