Whitsons Culinary Group is seeking a School Food Service Worker to support healthy meals for students in Minisink Admin, Slate Hill, NY. Monday-Friday schedule with no nights or weekends.

The role offers family-friendly hours, on-site kitchen, friendly team, hands-on training, and opportunities to develop food-safety skills.

You’ll prep, portion, serve meals, maintain clean stations, and follow safety rules; no experience needed, we train you.

Qualifications

• Must complete Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to speak and read English sufficient to understand recipes and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience.
