Job summary

Beacon Veterinary Specialists in Fremont, CA is hiring Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) for ER & Specialty settings. Positions include day-shift and swing-shift RVTs across Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, and Surgery.

We offer a 24/7 emergency and specialty environment with flexible schedules such as 3x12 and 4x10 weekday options, no recurring weekends, and opportunities for growth. Competitive pay with a signing bonus for full-time staff is available.

Qualifications

• Active California RVT license.
• Experience in a veterinary clinical setting (ER or Specialty preferred).
• Skilled in patient handling and restraint.
• Strong technical and communication skills.
• RECOVER BLS/ALS certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for hospitalized and critical patients.
• Perform blood draws, IV catheter placement, and treatments.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with procedures.
• Run diagnostics (lab work, radiology, ECG, blood pressure).
• Educate clients and review discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and charges.

Pay: $32.00 – $50.00 per hour
