Leonardtown Surgery Center is hiring a Registered Nurse Preop/Pacu to join our team. The RN provides continuous patient care from preop through PACU, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy. May assist physicians with sedation and sterile technique in procedure rooms and coordinate discharge planning with families.

Qualifications include an accredited RN education, active state RN license, BLS/ACLS, and strong communication skills; 2 years PACU/ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license active in the state.
• Be able to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous, quality nursing care with patient safety and privacy at all times.
• Asses, plan, implement and evaluate patient care from preop through PACU discharge.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with sedation and sterile technique as needed.
