Job summary

Senior Lifestyle in Gorham, ME seeks a dedicated Transportation Assistant to move residents on scheduled trips and events. You will operate a large vehicle, help residents in and out, and keep the vehicle clean and safe for daily use.

Mon-Fri, dayshift. You’ll report maintenance needs and coordinate repairs as needed, ensuring residents are returned safely to the building. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• You have experience driving a large vehicle such as a van, truck, or bus.
• You currently hold a valid driver’s license to operate the building’s vehicle.
• You have a safe driving record in accordance with company policy.
• You can drive without being easily distracted by passengers or external factors.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents and perform community errands as assigned.
• Ensure all residents who use the transportation are returned safely to the building.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle by performing or scheduling regular interior/exterior cleaning.
• Report mechanical needs and coordinate repairs when required.
