Americare Pharmacy Solutions in Cookeville, TN, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to work under the direction of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring medications are prepared accurately, efficiently and on time. The role features a consistent weekday schedule with no evenings or weekends.

You will assist with filling prescriptions, labeling medications, maintaining patient information, supporting inventory, and communicating with the team to deliver dependable service to senior living and long-term

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Tennessee Pharmacy Technician registration required.
• PTCB certification or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team-oriented with good communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with filling and preparing prescription orders.
• Package and label medications accurately.
• Prepare medications for dispensing under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter and maintain prescription and patient information.
• Help organize medications and pharmacy supplies.
• Support inventory and medication preparation processes.
• Communicate with pharmacists, team members and healthcare partners as needed.
• Follow pharmacy procedures and applicable state and federal requirements.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive health information.
• Help keep pharmacy operations organized, accurate and efficient.
