Job summary

Essentia Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant to join the Family Practice team at St. Mary’s Clinic in Detroit Lakes, MN. The role runs 8 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday, with one weekday off and no weekends or on-call.

The site supports outpatient care with access to hospital resources. Eligible candidates must hold MN LPN licensure or CMA certification and complete BCLS within 3 months.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in Minnesota upon hire.
• CMA registration or certification, or completion of a CMA program; must certify within two attempts.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN, physician and other providers; provide direct patient care in ambulatory care setting.
• Perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.
• Care for patients ranging from newborn to elderly according to age-related categories.
