Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician in Sarasota, FL to work as a wound care physician with daytime, Monday-Friday schedules. Full-time or part-time positions offered, with no nights or call and high earning potential through per-patient and per-procedure pay.

Qualified candidates hold an MD or DO, with an unrestricted state license and a DEA license (or eligibility). We provide wound care training and opportunities to lead initiatives in SNFs across the area.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
