Job summary

Hematology Oncology Associates of CNY in East Syracuse, Syracuse and Auburn is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our professional team. The role features day hours Monday through Friday, with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

You will provide chemotherapy treatments and general nursing care, document care, and collaborate with physicians and staff in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (RN or Graduate Nurse).
• Possession of a New York State RN license.
• Team-oriented, motivated and able to work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications and chemotherapy treatments in accordance with nursing standards, documenting same.
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care; maintains records and collaborates with medical staff.
