Job Description

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program focused on character development. We positively impact children’s lives through our coaching, communication, and curriculum. Our programs introduce soccer to children ages 2-10 at preschools, daycare centers, elementary schools, community centers, and parks in Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon, and Danville.

Details

Part-time weekday morning coaches needed for 3-15 sessions per week, with a 9-12 week commitment. Classes run from 8:30 am - 1 pm, each lasting 35 minutes to an hour. Training, equipment, and curriculum are provided.

Local candidates only (no work visa sponsorship). All candidates must complete a full FBI & DOJ clearance via Live Scan.

Qualifications

• Professional & Responsible: Good communication, punctuality, courteous, neat appearance, self-motivated, dependable.
• Fun & Creative: Enthusiastic, comfortable being goofy and imaginative with children.
• Patient & Empathetic: Willing to work through behavioral and learning challenges.
• Soccer Knowledge & Athleticism: Previous experience as a player or instructor preferred but not required.
• Transportation & Cell Phone: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a personal mobile phone with data.
• Background Check: Must pass a clear Live Scan.
• Education: High school diploma or GDE minimum; bonus for ECE units or coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Coach sessions at various locations, managing up to 12 children per session.
• Deliver curriculum focusing on skill and character development.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff and parents.
• Arrive 10-15 minutes early.
• Maintain equipment and manage rosters.
• Complete training and evaluations.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Commit to a 9-12 week season.

Schedule & Compensation

• Weekdays from 8:30 am - 1 pm.
• Compensation: $23+ per session.
• Saturday morning positions available.

Location

Positions available in Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon, and Danville.
