Job description

Soccer Shots is looking for part-time Saturday Morning soccer coaches who love having fun with kids! Soccer Shots will provide all curriculum and training. No coaching experience is necessary, just a desire to work with kids in a fun, high-energy environment!

First, visit our website, www.soccershots.org/eastbay, to see what we are all about! We introduce soccer to young children in a fun and non-competitive way throughout the East Bay (Contra Costa County, Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore).

If this seems like a match for you, we have openings for a part-time coach to work Saturday mornings (9am - 11am) in San Ramon. We are looking to hire/train as soon as possible for Saturday and weekday classes right away.

DETAILS

Competitive compensation - $22/class or $25/class if you have 12 ECE core units once training requirements have been met. Classes run an average of 45 minutes including field set-up and breakdown.

Hours are part-time with a set schedule (same day, same time each week) for the season length. Great coaches will have continuing opportunities year-round. We offer year-round programs in the Fall, Winter/Spring, Spring, and Summer seasons.

Local candidates only please (no work status or visa sponsorship available).

SCHEDULE

Saturday availability between 9am-12pm.

Other opportunities during the week if looking for more hours: Consistent weekly availability, 9am-1pm and/or 1-5pm.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Responsible & Professional | communicate professionally, timeliness, clean appearance, self-assured, dependable
• Experienced & Enthusiastic | proven experience engaging and leading young children
• Fun & Creative | comfortable being goofy and imaginative with young children
• Patient & Empathic | must be a patient person, willing to work through behavior and learning challenges
• Soccer & Athletic Know-How | Soccer skill as a player or coach is preferred, but not required

REQUIREMENTS:

• *Transportation & Cell Phone | must have reliable transportation (a car for driving to different locations) and mobile phone with data
• *Clear Background | must pass a Livescan (with clear record) and health screening. Education | 12 accredited ECE units in Early Childhood Development are preferred, but not necessary
• *Health Requirements | must provide proof of vaccinations (TdAP, MMR) and negative TB test result. Should be able to work on your feet, outdoors, and periodically lift up to 20 pounds
