NOW HIRING WEEKDAY MORNING SOCCER COACHES & EARLY EDUCATORS TO JOIN OUR TEAM

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program focused on character development. We positively impact children’s lives on and off the field through our coaching, communication, and curriculum. Our programs introduce soccer to children ages 2-10 at preschools, daycare centers, private elementary schools, community centers, and local parks in neighboring cities such as Brentwood, Discovery Bay, Oakley, Antioch, and Pittsburg.

Details

We’re seeking part-time weekday morning soccer coaches to conduct 3-15 sessions weekly, with a season commitment of 9-12 weeks. Classes are from 8:30 am to 1 pm, lasting 35 minutes to an hour. All training, equipment, and curriculum are provided.

Local candidates only; no work status or visa sponsorship available. All candidates must pass a full FBI & DOJ clearance via Live Scan.

Qualifications

• Professional & Responsible: Ability to communicate professionally, punctual, courteous, well-groomed, self-motivated, dependable
• Fun & Creative: Enthusiastic, goofy, and imaginative with children aged 2-10
• Patient & Empathetic: Willing to work through behavioral and learning challenges
• Soccer Knowledge & Athleticism: Prior soccer experience preferred but not required
• Transportation & Cell Phone: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a personal mobile phone with data
• Clear Background Check: Pass a Live Scan with a clean record
• Education: High school diploma or GDE minimum; bonus for 12 accredited ECE units in Early Childhood Development or soccer coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Coach and manage sessions at various locations, each 35 minutes to an hour, with up to 12 children per session
• Deliver our curriculum enthusiastically, focusing on skill and character development
• Provide excellent customer service to staff, directors, and parents
• Arrive 10-15 minutes early for each session
• Maintain equipment and manage class rosters
• Complete training and evaluations, including online and on-field components
• Attend meetings as required
• Commit to a 9-12 week season

Schedule & Compensation

• Weekdays from 8:30 am to 1 pm
• Compensation: $20+ per session
• Saturday morning positions are also available

Location

We are hiring weekday morning coaches for Brentwood, Discovery Bay, Oakley, Antioch, and Pittsburg.
