NOW HIRING WEEKDAY MORNING SOCCER COACHES & EARLY EDUCATORS TO JOIN OUR TEAM

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program focused on character development. We positively impact children’s lives on and off the field through our coaching, communication, and curriculum. Our programs introduce soccer to children ages 2-10 at preschools, daycare centers, private elementary schools, community centers, and local parks in areas including Brentwood, Discovery Bay, Oakley, Antioch, and Pittsburg.

Details

We’re seeking part-time weekday morning soccer coaches to conduct 3-15 sessions weekly, with a season-long commitment of 9-12 weeks. Classes run from 8:30 am to 1 pm, each lasting 35 minutes to an hour. Training, equipment, and curriculum are provided.

Local candidates only (no work status or visa sponsorship available). All candidates must complete FBI & DOJ clearance via Live Scan.

Qualifications

• Professional & Responsible: Excellent communication, punctuality, courtesy, appearance, self-motivation, and dependability.
• Fun & Creative: Enthusiastic, goofy, and imaginative with children aged 2-10.
• Patient & Empathetic: Willing to work through behavioral and learning curves.
• Soccer Knowledge & Athleticism: Previous experience as a player or instructor is preferred but not required.
• Transportation & Cell Phone: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a mobile phone with data.
• Clear Background Check: Pass a Live Scan with a clean record.
• Education: High school diploma or GDE minimum; bonus if you have 12 accredited ECE units or soccer coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Coach and manage sessions at various locations, each 35 minutes to an hour, with up to 12 children per session.
• Deliver our curriculum enthusiastically, focusing on skill and character development.
• Provide a positive experience for daycare staff, directors, and parents.
• Arrive 10-15 minutes early for each session.
• Maintain equipment and manage rosters.
• Complete training and evaluations, and attend meetings as required.
• Commit to a 9-12 week season.

Schedule & Compensation

• Weekdays from 8:30 am to 1 pm
• Compensation: $20+ per session
• Saturday morning positions available

Locations

We are hiring for Brentwood, Discovery Bay, Oakley, Antioch, and Pittsburg.
