Job summary

Texas Oncology in Austin, TX is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This full-time position supports the Lakeway and South Austin locations, with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule, no weekends, call, or major holidays.

The role can be Level 1, 2, or Sr based on experience. Under minimal supervision, the RN provides professional nursing care, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and adheres to oncology standards to support patients through treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing.
• 0-3 years nursing experience, preferably in oncology.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
• Assesses patient/family needs and provides teaching and other instructional material.
• Prepares and administers therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician.
• Administers all medications/blood products using correct medication/blood product, dosage/amount, route, time and technique.
• Maintains accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided.
• Applies knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
