Job summary

Texas Oncology in the Austin area seeks an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Lakeway and South Austin locations. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with no weekends or major holidays. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating care, administering therapies, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, BLS, and oncology experience; BSN preferred. Opportunities for LTIP-like incentives may apply per policy.

Qualifications

• RN with licensed board approval and current registration.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• BSN preferred; additional oncology certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and materials.
• Prepare and administer therapies under physician supervision.
• Facilitate dose modification by reviewing labs and protocols.
• Perform venipuncture and care of ports/central lines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and charge capture.
