Job summary

Texas Oncology in Mansfield, TX is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team. This full-time position supports the Infusion Department with standard 8:30am–5pm hours, Monday through Friday, and no weekends, calls, or major holidays.

The RN will provide professional nursing care to oncology patients in accordance with state and company guidelines. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating care, administering therapies, venipuncture, documentation, and collaboration with the

Qualifications

• RN license required by state board.
• Current BLS certification.
• BSN preferred.
• Willing to consider entry, mid, or senior level RN.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching materials.
• Administer therapies under physician direction.
• Administer medications/blood products with correct dosage and route.
• Obtain pre-authorization and consent forms where applicable.
• Modify doses based on labs and protocol in consultation with physician.
• Perform venipuncture and manage central lines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and treatments.
• Understand reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
