Job summary

Meridian School is seeking a Wednesday Group Leader for the 2026-2027 school year to supervise and engage a group of students after school. The role runs Wednesdays 12:00–6:00 pm, with additional hours possible as a substitute, and includes snack time, outdoor activities, enrichment and homework/quiet time.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least six months of childcare experience, and the ability to obtain a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of childcare experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification must be obtained within 14 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Work with a specific group of students on Wednesdays 12:00–6:00 pm, with check-in, snack, activities and homework/quiet time.
• Possibility to substitute additional days and hours upon request.
• Attend a five-day training period and learn more on the job.
