Job summary

JEFFREY A. MILLER Hospitality Group (JAM) is seeking event staff for Welkinweir Estate in Pottstown, PA. You will help ensure spaces are prepared, manage equipment placement, and assist with guest transportation and venue setup for weddings and events.

Roles include opening/closing duties, handling last-minute changes, and working outdoors in varied weather. Seasonal schedule with potential advancement opportunities and tips is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and own vehicle required.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long durations.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Handyman skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Welkinweir Estate spaces are cared for and inventory is accurate.
• Oversee venue setup and move equipment (tables, chairs, firepit).
• Address maintenance or operational issues during events (electrical needs).
• Transport guests in a golf cart around the venue.
• Oversee end-of-night cleanup and return venue to original condition.
• Serve as a key holder for opening/closing procedures on wedding days.
