Flowers for Dreams is seeking a Wedding + Events Dispatch Manager to oversee dispatch operations for our Wedding and Events teams in Chicago. You will lead installation crews, coordinate with drivers and sales, and drive process improvements to scale our events.

The role is full-time, Tue-Sat, with compensation in the $60,000–$80,000 range plus bonuses and benefits. A strong operations background and ability to lift 50 lbs are required; floral knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in operations, management or logistics.
• Excellent scheduling, operations, and margin management.
• Strong attention to detail and task management.
• Calm, positive problem-solver with team-building ability.
• Proven ability to build large teams and operate profitably.
• Will work Saturdays (and some Sundays).
• Must lift 50 lbs and drive an F4D vehicle.
• Floral knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise wedding/event setup teams on installation days.
• Act as primary contact for drivers and installation specialists.
• Recruit and train operations staff for ramp-ups and continued growth.
• Schedule, staff, and train installation teams for weddings/events.
• Create KPIs to measure margins and profitability.
• Design processes to scale wedding/event fulfillment.
• Coordinate with sales and production to ensure client satisfaction.
• Manage 35+ lead installers and design managers.
• Work long hours on feet, some heavy lifting.
