Job summary

Chateau Del Mar in Hickory Hills, IL is seeking an experienced Wedding & Event Sales Executive to join our banquet sales team. This on-site role offers full-time or part-time hours, with $18–$24 per hour plus performance incentives.

You will handle inquiries, conduct venue tours, quote packages, and coordinate with culinary and operations teams to deliver memorable events for clients from weddings to corporate functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in wedding, catering, event, hotel, banquet, venue or hospitality sales preferred.
• Strong sales and relationship-building ability.
• Professional and confident communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to wedding, social and corporate event inquiries.
• Conduct venue tours and client consultations.
• Follow up consistently with prospective clients and convert inquiries into booked events.
• Build strong client relationships throughout the sales and planning process.
• Assist clients with menu, beverage, package and upgrade selections.
• Identify appropriate upselling opportunities and help maximize event revenue.
• Prepare contracts, proposals and event documentation.
• Maintain accurate client, booking and follow-up records.
• Coordinate event details with the Sales Manager, banquet management, culinary staff and outside vendors.
• Work within established pricing, contract and management guidelines.
• Maintain professional and timely communication with clients.
• Help develop new sales opportunities, referrals and repeat business.
• Maintain organization and attention to detail while managing multiple clients and events.
